This second talk in my series will focus on the 1970s. How did the emergence of second wave feminist activity and theory inform women’s comics? How and why were comics being produced by women and how did the humour reflect the lives and experiences of women at the time? These are some of the questions I will be responding to in an illustrated presentation.
I am currently offering online graphic novel mentoring click here for more information.
